In honor of Pride Month here is a piece I wrote to Christians explaining their hypocrisy to themselves. Enjoy!
"My religion states that being gay, bi, trans and lesbian is a sin."
Your religion also states you having sex during your period is a sin. How come you ignore that?
Your religion also says that eating bacon is a sin. How come you ignore that?
Your religion also says eating lobster is a sign. Cutting the sides of your hair is a sin. Wearing clothes made out of mixed fabric is a sin. Getting a tattoo is a sin. A man trimming the edges of his beard is a sin. It says a woman is not to hold any position of authority and is to be quiet . That if a woman is not a virgin on her wedding night she is to be stoned to death. And that planting two different kinds of seeds in the same field is a sin.
Those who speak evil of those who are absent is a sin but you speak ill of homosexuals all the time. Why aren't you punished for it? Because "every sin is redeemable" unless they are homosexual and then they are damned to hell? Make it make sense. (Hypocrisy is also a sin).
Banqueting is a sin yet you find yourselves on boats every memorial day weekend drinking yourselves away to our country's "freedom".
Ridiculing another is a sin.
Clamor, aka loud continued noises, are a sin yet I see all of you screaming outside planned parenthood every weekend like its a hobby.
Debate is a sin yet you debate women for having control over their own bodies and the LGBTQIA+ for being themselves daily. And for what? Mind your business.
Foolishness is a sin yet look at you.
Giving offense is a sin.
Hatred is a sin.
Judging is a sin. Only God can judge us so what gives you the right? Do you think you're above God? That's a no no.
Murder is a sin yet 2020 has seen 37 transgender people murdered by people claiming to love God according to GLAAD.
False humility is a sin yet you claim to be nagging the community because you love them then continue to kick your own children out of your homes if they are different than you.
Denying christ is a sin yet you've done everything i've listed above. How do you think he'll like that?
But thats too hard for you so you've decided that God didn't mean any of that. He only meant the being gay part. Listen if you're going to spread hatred towards others by quoting the bible at them, make sure that you first follow the entire thing or just keep quiet.
